Contract Type: Permanent Variable (PVC), Full Time, 5 days per week 

Reporting to the Entertainments Experience Manager of performance and internal creative you will work closely on all seasonal and event entertainments offerings designing and creating costumes to impress our guests! This role is integral in working collaboratively with the internal creative team to work on the concept, design, creation and final tweaks of all costume looks whilst maintaining the running of the costume departments daily standards.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising a team of costume designers
• Working closely with the Entertainments Experience Managers in the creative and delivery process
• Designing and creating costumes for all offerings and events
• Sourcing fabric and costumes for all Entertainments offerings
• Creating costume laundry and maintenance processes and plans
• Working on weather contingency costume plans
• Creating Rotas
• Negotiating with suppliers for fabrics
• General administration and stock taking
• Health and Safety audits + Compliance of all costume working areas
• Maintenance / repair costumes
• Working to budgets and deadlines

• Be highly organised, process driven and great time management
• Be passionate, creative, and quick thinking, with a keen eye for detail
• Have experience in supervising a team
• Have strong sewing skills (pattern cutting and able to use a sewing machine)
• Have Experience with costume design
• Have excellent communication combined with a positive and approachable nature
