With the recent opening of the new Warwick Castle Hotel, Warwick Castle continues to captivate guests with awe-inspiring experiences. Now, we’re looking for a skilled General Maintenance Handyperson to join our team and help ensure every visit is as magical as the last.

In this dynamic role, you’ll help maintain and enhance the Castle’s iconic grounds, the Knights Village, and our new 60-bedroom hotel. You’ll also play a key role in keeping our Luxury Tower Suites in top condition. No two days are the same, and your work will directly impact the experience of guests visiting from all over the world.

What you’ll be doing:

• Carrying out routine planned preventative maintenance and inspections, alongside minor repairs.
• Responding to callouts and breakdowns, diagnosing faults, and delivering swift, high-quality solutions.
• Maintaining and improving plant, equipment, buildings, and infrastructure across the Castle and its accommodations.
• Taking ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring they are completed to the highest standard.
• Handling a mix of tasks, from basic plumbing and carpentry to minor painting and decoration.
• Acting as the duty technician on a rota basis, serving as the sole point of contact for resolving critical issues affecting guest experience.

This is a permanent hourly paid role. Working 5 days out of 7 including regular weekends.

• Experience in a similar facilities maintenance role or professional trade.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to plan and prioritize your own work.
• A valid UK driving license.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Desirable qualifications: IPAF and PASMA (working at height).
