What you'll bring to the team

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • First line of support and the primary point of contact for the maintenance, fault finding, servicing, record keeping and monitoring of all department audio visual equipment and other associated equipment under the control of the av department
  • Programming experience of highly specialised audio-visual systems
  • Able to interogate and modify the following systems – qsys, medialon, chroma-q vista, pharos, hippotizer, 7th sense delta
  • Working knowledge of the following protocols – tcp/udp, midi, artnet/rdm, q-lan, dante, rs232/485, hdbase-t, smpte.
  • Working knowledge of ethernet/ip networked systems
  • Guided by the “av technical team leader” you will help with the planning and organising of the daily workload for the team
  • In the absence of the “av technical team leader”, you will help guide and support a team of eight av technicians
  • Good understanding of bs7671 and bs7909
  • Working knowledge/training in loler, puwer, eawr, hasawa and other industry specific health and safety legislation
  • Level 3 or above qualifiaction in a relevant area of audio-visual or suitable proven work background within the audio-visual industry.
  • 37.5hr working week. Expected to work any five from seven (some weekend working will be required)

Pay Range

Compensation between GBP £16.50/Hr.-GBP £16.50/Hr.
