We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Audio Visual Compliance Team Leader to join the AV department at Alton Towers Resort. As the first line of support and primary point of contact, you will take charge of maintaining, fault-finding, servicing, and monitoring all AV equipment, ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance across the department.
Act as the main contact for the maintenance, servicing, fault diagnosis, and record keeping of all audio visual equipment within the department.
Liaise with external suppliers to arrange repairs and manage the procurement of new AV equipment.
Organise and document all health and safety inspections for AV department equipment, ensuring full compliance with industry regulations.
Support the AV Technical Team Leader in planning and organising the daily workload for the team.
In the absence of the AV Technical Team Leader, provide leadership and guidance to a team of eight AV technicians.
Level 3 or higher qualification in a relevant audio-visual discipline, or a strong proven background in the AV industry.
Good understanding of BS7671 and BS7909 standards.
PAT qualification preferred.
Working knowledge or training in LOLER, PUWER, EAW, HASAWA, and other health and safety legislation relevant to the AV industry.
Experience with asset management and familiarity with CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems) preferred.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to document and manage compliance records accurately.
